Wat Phra That Sadet
To the north of Lampang city is the more than 500 years old Wat Phra That Sadet, a large temple with four viharns and a large Chedi. Inside the large Viharn Luang is a beautiful Sukhothai-style walking Buddha image. Behind the main building is the smaller Lanna-style Viharn Phra Put. Behind the huge Lanna-style chedi is another small teak-wood shrine with open sides, containing several Buddha images. Another large Viharn Phra Nang Chama Thewi is followed to the other side of the chedi. The Ubosot is actually outside the main group of buildings and located behind a wall.
