Wat Kok Dong Kut Wa

Wat Kok Dong Kut Wa is a small village temple in the village of Kut Wa. It is the center of the Kalasin Rocket Festival, which was also our reason to visit. During this time the temple is filled with people who turn it's ground into a big festival. The temple building and the Buddha image face west, a rare sight in Thailand. We were told that due to the flood waters they built the entrance to the west rather than east.
