Wat Burapharam
Wat Burapharam is a large temple in Surin town with a huge Ubosot, which has richly decorated gables. The inside of the Ubosot contains beautiful murals showing the life of Lord Buddha with written explanations regarding the meaning of each picture underneath. To the side of the temple is a museum with an interesting and modern roof structure. The temple is about 200 years old and behind the Ubosot is the important statue of Luang Phor Phra Chee, the palladium Buddha image of Surin.
