Wat Maruka Nakhon

The venerable abbot of Wat Maruka Nakhon was so kind to open the huge Ubosot for us and to give us a lot of information about the temple. While many of the famous temples along the Mekong get visitors from all over the world, this temple here is a real meditation site, though equally beautiful. In the Ubosot the sides were lined with altars, covered with Buddha images and inlay standing clocks behind them.
