Wat In Plang

Luang Phor In Plang, the beautiful Buddha image, situated in the Ubosot of Wat In Plang is the main reason to visit this temple along the Mekong River. The Buddha figure's head is amongst the most impressive one's we have seen so far. The Ubosot of the temple was under renovation when we visited in 2007, including the altar of the Buddha. Unfortunately the Buddha image had been placed in front of an decorative sign, which was illuminated by blinking lights.
