Wat A-Ham
Wat A-Ham is an interesting temple north of the district town Pa Tio. There is no temple buildings left, but lots of history and stories about the area. Meditation monks visit here on their walking paths and while we were there we met with a monk who was on his way to Phra That Phanom. Local people told us that this is an ancient site and that the village will not allow a resident monk here anymore because corrupt monks sold some of the ancient findings and statues. Not much of the ancient temple remains today, but ruins of of an old Ubosot and the small earthen remainings of a chedi and viharn.
