Wat Sawang Arom

Wat Sawang Arom was built in 1856 is is known for one of the largest collections of Nang Yai's, the Shadow Play Figures. The upper floor of the sermon hall is used as a museum to display the figures. There is also a new Ubosot and a old hall which was under renovation when we visited in September 2007, which contains beautiful mural paintings.
