Wat Pho Kao Ton

Wat Pho Kao Ton

The area around Wat Pho Kao Ton is best known for the Bang Rachan Monument, which is located across the highway. The temple at the time was the camp site for the Bang Rachan troups. Besides an Ubosot of newer times, the temple consists of remains of an Ayutthaya Viharn, some brick chedi's and a building housing a statue of Phra Achan Thammachote, a highly revered monk during Bang Rachan's historical times.
