Wat Thanon

Wat Thanon was difficult for us to find. We went in circles and finally through construction sites to get there. A friendly monk opened the sala for us which features a footprint of Buddha on the ceiling. Something we had never seen before. In the mondop is a standing statue of Buddha. Wat Thanon was one of the best kept and cleanest temples we had been to and we were really impressed by it.
