Wat Chulamani

Wat Chulamani is an interesting old temple in Angthong Province. We found some friendly people at the temple who showed us around and explained the history of the temple. Besides an old Ubosot and Viharn, which stand next to the Chedi, there is another structure on the temple grounds which contains a golden Sukhothai Buddha statue. Also at this temple, we were told that it seems to be a fashion to break into temples in the province lately and therefore the Statue was heavily protected.
