Wat Klang Worawihan

Located in the District town of Samut Prakan Wat Klang is an old temple which was build during the Ayutthaya period. The gable of the old Ubosot is stucco mixed with porcelain. One monk opened the old Ubosot for us so we could see the Buddha statues and the murals inside, which were in real need for restoration.  In the Mondop photography is not allowed out of fear that Buddha images get noticed and stolen and there is always someone present to protect it.
