Phu Phrabat Historical Park

Not really a temple, but rather a park of bizarre geological formations, 3000  year old cave paintings, Buddhist shrines and prehistoric dwellings from about 6000 - 5000 BC.  Trails lead through this wooden area up the Phupan mountain range, with a breath taking view down spectacular cliffs. From a behavioural point of view, one has to observe the same rules like within temples.
