Wat Phra That Doi Hua Fai

Another temple we came across in the outskirts of Mae Sot town is Wat Phrathat Doi Hua Fai. A lot of construction was going on when we visited in November of 2007 in order to build a 37 meter high pagoda on the mountain. We were told by local people that this was a long plan but the money had just been donated now. Well, other structures seemed to have been there for a while which were never completed either but from which one has a good view down into the valley and the lake, which gives the temple it's name.
