Wat Phra Phuttabhat Bua Bok

Chedi at Wat Phra Phuttabhat Bua Bok

Spelling of this temple and the close by Phu Phrabat Historical Park varies, but here in the Northwest of the Udon Thani Province, just south of the border to Laos, you are better off speaking Thai (or Lao) anyway. The temple can be seen from far as it is sits picturesquely on a peak. The white chedi is copied after the one of Wat Phra That Phanom in Nakhon Phanom Province. Inside the chedi is a symbolic footprint of Lord Buddha.
