Wat Pa Nitch Niramon

Wat Pa Nitch Niramon is one of the few temples in the town of Umphang, beyond the mountains and close to the border of Burma. It is located right in the center of town next to the markets and the few shops there are. After the long and very dangerous drive over the mountains to reach this location, we thought it would be a good idea to pay our respect to the Buddha. After all, highway 1090 is one of the most dangerous routes in Thailand.
