Wat Nam Dan
From Wat Nam Dan in the district of Umphang you can almost see the border with Burma. It is a very tiny temple in the mountains west of Umphang town, without any realy structures, but a small altar. It is well known locally for the fish swimming in the pond on the temple grounds. We were told that the monks were here to prevent the fish from being caught by the locals. In order to make tambun (good deeds) we brought bread to feed the fish.
