Wat Sam Naksong Zepala
There is not much to see at Wat Sam Naksong Zepala yet. We visited it in November 2007 when the temple had just erected a new teak wood structure with dozens of teak pillars. There are only Karen (mountain tribe) villages nearby and it saddens us to see so many trees cut in today's times. An older structure sits to the side of it, housing the main Buddha image. This is as far as civilization goes in the province of Tak. After the dirtroad leading to these villages you will find nature only.
