Wat Sasana Buema

After having survived another trip across the mountains along the dangerous highway 1090 we stopped in this Burmese temple close to Phop Phra. This was truly a Burmese temple as nobody spoke Thai and there was no sign of the temple's name, so we had to go with a phonetic version of what we heard. The abbot of the temple was so surprised to see people from the west pulling into the temple that he got all dressed up and received us officially in front of the Buddha images, after which we were given a tour through the temple.
