Wat Hin Mak Peng
Like the lonely planet guide says "Wat Hin Mak Peng is worth a trip just for the scenery...". This is a temple for thudong monks, forest monks who live an even more ascetic life than their fellow monks in Monasteries in Bangkok. The kuti's, which house the monks, are built on a cliff overlooking the Mekong River as it borders Laos.
