Wat Phichai Buranaram

Close to the river on the southern part of Uthaithani town is Wat Pichai Buranaram. While the two temple buildings where newly renovated, there were no monks around or any signs that this temple is still a working temple. There were no buildings which would accommodate monks and no sala on the temple grounds.  Inside the otherwise undecorated Viharn is an Ayutthaya-style statue called Phra Buddha Chaiyasit.
