Wat Sala Daeng

Normally we pass by Saraburi on the way North or East. In 2008 we planned a special trip to visit Saraburi in order to pay our respect to the Buddha image Phra Buddha Nirarokhantarai Chaiwatchaturathit. The image is installed in a special building and is in Bangkok-style. The casting ceremony of this image was performed by H.M. The King in 1968. Three other images installed at the same time are located in Lampang, Phathalung and Ratchaburi.
