Wat Sri Suwunaram

Wat Sri Suwanaram is a small temple in Sankhlaburi's main road, where most of the tourist accomodation is located. Inside the Ubosot is a newer Phra Buddha Chinnarat statue and at the time of our visit on Valentines Day of 2008 new mural paintings were painted onto the walls. Funnily one of the new paintings read "Happy Valentine 14. Feb 51". Right next to the temple is a building where Karen mountain people are weaving cotton cloths, which are for sale down the road.
