Wat Po Si Kaeo

Wat Po Si Kaeo is also located in the district of Dong Luang and as pretty as the landscape here is, so is this temple. Very neat and clean. We got a guided tour by a friendy temple employee and some monks and visited the delicate and small old Ubosot, which contains several Buddha images. Because it is so small, there was almost no space for the monks to pray, hence the new Ubosot across was build. The images of the old and new Ubosot actually face each other. We were also invited to pay our respect to the abbot of the temple and earned some exciting comments, when we told our audience that we had visited almost 800 temples by May 2008.
