Wat Bang Sare

Wat Bang Sare in the village of Bang Sare is a small temple along the beaches north of Sattahip. Locally this is known as the temple of Luang Pho Yu, a well known monk. The temple is collecting donations to built a new building to the side of the pavilion which houses the coffin of the monk. However, we were not even out of our car when a nun yelled at us to make donations and then bad-mouthed us for obviously not donating what she hoped for. Temples which are run as a business are very high on our list for not going back to.
