Wat Tai Ton Lan

We were looking forward to visiting Wat Tai Ton Lan in Phanat Nikhom, but the fact that the temple was closed, nobody in sight and dozends of angry dogs, made this visit a very short one. The temple was built in 1837 (other sources say 1905) and is said to contain beautiful murals and a collection of old Buddha statues. We were only able to see the old scripture building which stands in the middle of a pond.
