Wat Saranat Thammaram
Wat Saranat Thammaram is located in Klaeng district on the way from Rayong to Chantaburi. The temple was built in 1944 A.D. and consists of a huge Ubosot and replicas (though much smaller) of four famous pagodas, namely Bodhgaya, Phra Pathom Chedi, Phrathat Phanom and Borommathat Chaiya. The assistant of the abbot walked us around and showed us the main Buddha image inside the Ubosot. The temple is also known for some important Buddha emblems which had been blessed in a ceremony with the famous Luang Phor Waen and Luang Phor Tim. A really special temple to visit on the way to the south-east of Thailand.
