Wat Khao Kradon

Wat Khao Kradon is not known for it's architecture but rather for it's many activities as a true community center. On special occasions the temple displays shadow plays (Nang Talung) which had been introduced to the temple more than a hundred years ago by it's abbot Luang Pho To (not the same one that we have covered on many of our other pages). A folk museum displays many artefacts of the folk life in the area. Behind the huge wooden sala one can see all the traditional instruments used by the musicians here.
