Wat Pailom
We visited the province of Chantaburi for the first time in 2008 and Wat Pailom was our first temple to visit. Although it is an ancient temple, some of the buildings are new, like the new and elevated Ubosot with a Phra Buddha Chinarath statue inside. The old Ubosot is located just behind it. On the other side of the huge sala is the Phra Viharn which contains the largest reclining Buddha image of the eastern provinces.
