Wat Buppharam
Wat Buppharam in itself is worthwhile the long trip to Trat province. We were amazed at the amount of details and items to see and we spent several hours in the temple. Besides the excellent layout and appearance of the temple grounds, there is a very recommendable museum with old Buddha images and other collectables. Wat Buppharam is the oldest temple of the province and was built about 1648 A.D. The most impressive for us was the amount of Mondops, Chedis, Viharns and Ubosots which form one line and are breathtaking in terms of their Buddha images, wall decorations and paintings.
