Wat Pho Thi Nayok

In the center of Nakhon Nayok town is Wat Pho Thi Nayok. In the center of the temple stands the beautiful Ubosot with elaborate Chinese decorations on both gables. Interesting are also the very different looking chofas (the roof edge finials).  The Ubosot contains a beautiful seated Buddha image in meditation pose. To the side of Ubosot is a new Viharn which was either just finished or under renovation. There were no monks in sight. Well, actually one who turned away when we saw us. Interestingly we were also charged for parking, which tells us that people don't visit this temple to pray but to park in the city center.
