Wat Dusitaram Worawihan
Wat
Dusitaram Worawihan lies on the Bangkok Noi side of the city. Unfortunately this
important temple looked rather neglected and dozens of aggressive dogs attack
anyone walking to the temple. Once inside the cloister, it is a different world.
Peaceful and quiet. Worshippers used it's cloister for a walking meditation. The
gallery of the cloister holds 64 standing Buddha images. Behind
the temple is another small temple called Wat Phumarin Rajapaksi, with an old
Ubosot and Viharn building. Unfortunately they are both neglected at this time
and its grounds are used as a parking lot.
