Wat Suwannaram Rajaworawihan

Wat Suwannaram was long on our list to visit and we actually even visited the "wrong" Wat Suwan earlier in the year. Finally we found the right temple on the banks of the Chao Praya in Bangkok Noi. This is an old temple dating back to the Ayutthaya period and the roof was being renovated when we visited. The friendly Abbot had the Ubosot opened for us so we were able to pay our respect to the beautiful Sukhothai-style Buddha called Phra Sasada and admire the amazing murals of the building.
