Wat Phra That Doi Chom Thong

Located on the north side of the city we came across Wat Phra That Doi Jom Thong. It is located on a small hill which is boxed in by the two roads which run north and south. This is a famous temple for its Phra That Chedi. On weekends a lot of people visit the temple with its open sided buildings which contain Buddha images. Our favourite image sits in front of the chedi and we thought it resembled the main Buddha image of Wat Sri Umong Kam.
