Wat Huay Kua Kham

When driving through the town of Chun we passed by Wat Huay Kua Kham several times and decided to stop and check it out. Besides the large Ubosot there is a small chedi to the side of it in a garden. The village folks were very friendly and invited us back to a festival on the following day, which we gladly accepted. Inside the Ubosot is a wide range of Buddha images and modern murals on the walls. Typical Lanna temple banners, tungs, are hanging from the high ceiling.
