Wat Phra Chao Nang Din
Wat Phra Chao Nang Din is the temple of the Buddha image called Phra Chao Nang Din - the Buddha sitting on the earth. There is no base under the Buddha image and legends tell stories about the villagers trying to raise the Buddha onto a base but failed. Hence the Buddha was called "the Buddha sitting on the earth/on the floor". It is now placed securely behind safety glass and locked away because the image is said to be 2500 years old. This temple is very busy, specially on weekends when Thai tourists come to the temple to make tambun.
