Wat Dong Bun Nak

Wat Dong Bun Nak is an ancient temple which was part of an ancient settlement. A beautiful white chedi with niches containing many kinds of standing Buddha images is located behind the Ubosot.  While the Ubosot itself is not an ancient building, the Buddha image inside is very old. It is a Chiang Saen-style image made of stone. Paintings around the wall tell the story about people discovering the old Buddha image and moving it to this location before building a structure around it.
