Buddha Utthayan 

Phra Mongkhon Ming Muang is a huge Buddha statue in a park-like area, called Buddha Utthayan, just north of Amnat Charoen. Some sources say that the location is actually within the Temple of Wat Dan Phra Bat, but I haven't been able to find the normally available sign above the entrance to the temple grounds. The image is also said to be the principal Buddha statue of the province.  Behind the main statue are several smaller ones, which are also highly referred. They are mostly covered in soft yellow robes.
