Phra That Sinakarindhra

Phra That Sinakarindhra

Leaving Wat Tham Pa Asha Thong much later than planned caused us to miss most of the attractions on the way to the mountain Doi Mae Salong with it's many mountain tribe villages and tea plantations. We made it to Phra That Sinakarindhra Satit Mahasanti Khiri late in the day and were lucky enough to find a friendly security guard to open the doors for us. The pagoda stands on an elevation level of 1500 meters. It was built in 1996 to bestow the late Princess Mother. The view from up here is breathtaking. The road up to the mountain will cause to you hold your breath!
