Wat Ratcha Bamrung

Wat Ratcha Bamrung

Further up towards the border with Laos along highway 1080 is Wat Ratcha Bamrung, a very clean and neatly kept village temple. The reason for the cleanliness might have been the preparation for a the royal funeral ceremony for Princess Galyani scheduled for the following day.  We specially liked the three entrance doors of the Ubosot which are decorated with coloured glass and flanked by two waking Buddha images.
