Phra That Phu Piang

We have no real information about Phra That Phu Piang. We just happend to see it from the road and stopped. There is no other buildings around it. From the sign next to the monument we learned that the chedi dates back to B.E. 2510 which would be 1967 A.D.  This point here north of Thung Chang is really as far as it worth to drive. The border crossing is closed anyway and the other side of the mountains is better reached through the national park until highway 1081 has been improved/fixed (status of 2009).
