Wat Pho Chaisi

Wat Pho Chaisi was hard for us to find. Asking local people in rural Udon Thani we were sent in various directions and onto various dirt roads. We finally got to the temple just before the evening and were glad that it was still open. We wanted to pay our respect to the Lan Chang-style Buddha image of Luang Phor Nak, which is safely protected behind iron bars. Two other important Buddha images are located at this temple, Luang Phor Sri and Luang Phor Dtio. To the side of the temple is a large building where the temple gets some of it's funding in form of selling Buddha images (renting them in the Thai system).
