Wat Phra That Nong Bua 

Our first temple in Ubon Ratchathani after a long drive through the North-East of Thailand. The Chedi of the temple is modelled after the Chedi of Buddhakhaya, or Bodhgaya in India. A similar attempt to copy this Chedi can be seen at Wat Chet Yot in Chiang Mai.  I particularly liked the reliefs on the outside of the temple buildings, but also the inside of the main Chedi is beautiful and filled with many Buddha statues.
