Wat Hua Krabue
One
of our frequent visitors to chimburi.com from We
spent quite some time at the temple as the number of fixed cars, broken cars and
simply parts only is huge. The temple buildings are not of any architectural
importance. Local people come to the temple to worship a Buddha statue of Luang
Phor To and there is quite a large selection of amulets and other items which
are up for sale. On the side of the temple are hundreds of buffalo skulls, from
which the temple has its name and life buffalos were also running around in the
temple. The temple was in the process of building a wall against the rising
waters from the nearby canal to protect it from flooding; however most of the
former bridges were gone, which made the temple difficult to reach in early
2009.
