Wat Phra Khwang 

Another important temple of Chumphon town is Wat Phra Khwang with the ancient Buddha image Luang Phor Phra Khwang, which sits in an open-sided building and is flanked by two other images. It is highly respeced by local people who place gold leaves on the image. We were told that the image floated down the river once and refused to let people pull it onto the land until they first built a shelter for it.
