Wat Chao Fa Sala Loy 

A short distance to the North of the city of Chumphon is Wat Chao Fa Sala Loy. This quiet temple is best known for its famous monk Luang Phu Song, who passed away in A.D. 1983. His body can still be seen in a building to the back of the temple. A ceremony was being conducted while we visited so we didn't want to enter the Ubosot until the abbot of the temple invited us inside, which allowed us to pay our respect to the presiding Buddha image.
