Wat Kaeo
A short distance from Wat Long is Wat Kaeo an ancient temple, also known as Wat Rattanaram. The chedi is built in Si Wichai style and stands on a square base with twelve re-dented corners. Seated Buddha images are located in the niches on three sides of the chedi, while one of the niches is forming an entrance into the relic chamber. Another ancient Buddha image is located to the side of the old chedi as part of a modern temple. When we visited in March 2009 a cement structure was being built around the Buddha image.
