Phra That Sri Surat

Phra That Sri Surat is also named Phra That Khao Thaphet because it is located on the mountain Kaho Thaphet. The stupa is in Sri Vijaya style and H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn enshrined relics of Lord Buddha in this stupa in 1984. The Phra That is located in a park-like wooden area to the south of the city of Surat Thani which offers a nice view over the city and the land below.
