Wat Wang Dawandok

Wat Wang Dawandok

Unfortunately Wat Wang Dawandok has become a busy parking lot and market. Only one shrine for a respected monk was open when we visited. The temple is known for it's Kuti buildings (monks residences) which have been built back in A.D. 1888 and consist of three wooden houses with connected roofs. Some old but really neglected Buddha images are located in a locked building behind the Ubosot, which was also closed.
