We already saw that there was renovation work going on when driving into the temple in March 2009 and feared that we will not be able to pay our respect to the main Buddha image. Fortunately the abbot of the temple granted us permission to visit the Ubosot and see the beautiful Ayutthaya-style Buddha image called Phra Pratan Song Krueng. However the other monks didn't know about this and immediately came into the Ubosot to see if anyone wants to steal any images. We cleared matters up pretty fast and also decided that we will not post any pictures of the Buddha on these pages. On the temple grounds is also a small pavilion with the statue of a highly respected monk and a former palace building.
