Wat Chaeng 

Wat Chaeng features one of the oldest ordination halls of the entire Province and is built in a typical Lao-style. The temple was built in 1887 during the reign of Rama V. We visited the temple in 2002 and again early 2009, when we were able to visit the inside of the Ubosot. The monks were just about to install a new Buddha image which had been donated.
